Congregational care is about building a community of Christian disciples growing together in spiritual maturity, showing love to one another through prayer and acts of service, mutually encouraging one another in the faith, and reaching out to connect others to the body of Christ.

The ministry of congregational care is about reaching out to people, connecting them to the body of Christ, and meeting their spiritual and physical needs by displaying the love of Christ. We do this because Christ first loved us. We recognise that much of the work is done on a personal, one-on-one basis or in small groups, and that God has provided many servants even if they may not officially be part of the ministry teams. We believe that everyone in the church is part of congregational care.
