In what way are husbands to treat their wives?  What would a marriage build on mutual submission based on full spiritual equality between Christian husbands and wives (Gal 3:28) look like?

New Testament society was characterized by extravagance in clothing and jewelry.  What distinctive would characterize the Christian’s attitude towards dress nowadays (cf. 1 Tim 2:8-10)?

How is the submission in vv1-6 similar in purpose like that in 2:13-15?  Married or not, what qualities in vv1-6 would you like to build in your friendships with the opposite sex?          

How can the suffering Christ (vv21-25) help us in situations beyond our control?  How can you explain this to someone?
