Let’s be thankful to God for all his provision and blessings in our lives both individually and as a church.

Nehemiah 2:10-20

There will always be opposition and obstacles in our service.  As long as we remember that the “hand of God” is upon us, we will accomplish what He sets out for us to do.

Let’s again be mindful of God’s presence as we gather as the faithful do, to worship Him tomorrow, bringing along with us the proper gifts of “living sacrifices.”

 

Nehemiah 2:9

Nehemiah prayed and planned meticulously before, he acted on his plans.  Often, we need to learn to act out our resolution to serve God expeditiously.

Remember the members of our Sunshine Fellowship who are on a tour to Johor; pray for a good time of fellowship and protection throughout the journey.

Nehemiah showed us how to be bold in seeking to do the Lord’s bidding. Let’s reflect on our own boldness in serving the Lord.

Let us keep our leaders in prayer as they plan and implement decisions made during last weekend’s retreat.

In between Nehemiah’s conversation with king Artaxerxes, he was having another conversation with God the King.  What does this teach us about our prayer life?

 M&E Committee meets tonight with a number of strategic involvements in missions.  Do keep them in prayer for wisdom and courage both in decision-making and in implementation of missions initiatives for God’s glory. Pray too for the Worship Committee to have a fruitful and Spirit-led meeting.
