About Ruth
Ruth Tong is a returning pastoral staff from Vancouver, Canada. She had served as Music Director at ORPC 1996-2013 with a Master of Music majoring in piano performance. She further pursued theological studies (MA) at Regent College, Vancouver and served as a Pastor at Pacific Grace Mandarin MB church in Vancouver from 2018 till May 2025. She and her husband Steve Chen married in 1991 and have 2 adult children – daughter Kayla Chen and son Kezmen Chen. Ruth loves the sun and engages frequently in sports such as swimming, cycling, rollerblading, enjoys plants, and watching crime series for leisure.
