- JB Malay Village: Enjoy traditional dance, wayang kulit, and a hands-on Batik Painting Workshop with a souvenir to bring home.
- Roti Canai Workshop: Learn to make roti canai, paired with teh tarik and nasi lemak.
- Kampong Baru Kelapa Sawit: Stroll through historic streets lined with Instagrammable mural art.
- Fellowship & Shopping: Enjoy mall shopping and a group dinner before returning to Singapore.
Detailed Description
Itinerary:
| 7.00AM | Assemble at Newton Circus carpark and depart for Malaysia Immigration (via JB CIQ) |
| 9.30AM 1.30PM | Arrive at JB Malay Village. The program includes Traditional Malay Dance, Model House, Pewter Casting, Malaysia Wayang Kulit, Sumpit (Blow Pipe), Wedding Gallery and Batik Painting experience (include materials and bring home the product as a souvenir). Include Roti Canai Workshop with a serving of local delicacies Roti Canai & Teh Tarik (milk tea) and packed Nasi Lemak lunch. |
| 2.30PM | Arrive at Kampong Baru Kelapa Sawit. It is located in the northern part of the ancient city of Johor. In the past, people in the village make their living from tapping and farming. Over the years, the traditional appearance of the land remains. Together let us discover the rich culture and heritage of this town! All over the streets, you will see walls or houses covered with mural paintings! These mural paintings are not just paintings made with the artist’s pigment but rather show the culture the town grew up with. These would be very good Instagram photo spots! |

| 5.00PM | Dinner will be served at a local restaurant |
