About Anthon
Anthon Simangunsong was born into a Christian family and came to affirm the Christian faith as his own during his high school years. He later studied at the University of Indonesia and worked in information technology for approximately sixteen years. Over those years, he sensed God’s call to full-time Christian ministry and eventually pursued theological training. He completed his Master of Divinity at Trinity Theological College (TTC), Singapore, in 2018, and a Master of Arts in Christian Apologetics at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University, in May 2026.
After completing his studies at TTC, Anthon began serving in the Indonesian Ministry of Orchard Road Presbyterian Church. Together with fellow ministry workers and church members, he seeks to nurture faith across generations, particularly among children, teenagers, young adults, and young families. Through teaching and pastoral care, he hopes to help people grow in their knowledge of Christ and find encouragement in walking with Him through everyday life.
He is married to Dr Veronika Manurung, and they are grateful to God for their three children: Grace, Eben Haezer, and Glory.
