Herna obtained her Th.M and M.Div (Biblical Studies) from Singapore Bible College. She started as a teacher and counsellor in a Christian school in Jakarta. Later, she was a biblical and counselling correspondent with Radio Bible Class (Our Daily Bread Ministries) and concurrently an adjunct lecturer (Greek Grammar) in a theological seminary. Since 2005, she has served in Singapore at Hebron Bible-Presbyterian Church, and at Glory Presbyterian Church as a chaplain in the affiliated Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary School. Herna is married to Andy. They have a daughter, Gracia. Herna enjoys reading, listening to music, and meeting up with people.
