Casurine completed her Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Singapore Bible College in 2007. Subsequent to her graduation, she was a Pastor at Newton Life Church. 

She later pursued a Master of Arts in Social Science from Swinburne University of Technology and worked as a counsellor. She provided counseling to individuals, couples and families. 

 She is married and a mother of two sons, Luther and Theodosius. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, swimming and cycling.
