Dear members of ORPC,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!
The Extraordinary Congregational Meeting (“ECM”) to elect Elders and Deacons will be held by way of electronic means on Sunday, 6 December 2020 after Worship Service at approximately 9.55 a.m. (Singapore Time).
As ORPC’s Moderator and Senior Minister, Rev Dr Clive Chin, will be on leave, the Session Clerk, Elder Harold Or, will conduct the proceedings of the ECM.
Due to the current COVID-19 restriction orders in Singapore, the number of persons allowed at ECM is capped at 50 persons to limit the risk of exposure to infection. Therefore, ORPC Session has decided to conduct the ECM by way of electronic means as provided by the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) (Alternative Arrangements for Meetings for Charities, Co-operative Societies and Mutual Benefit Organisations) Order 20201.
This means that members of ORPC may participate in the ECM by:
- downloading this proxy form and
- appointing the Chairman of the ECM as proxy to attend and vote on their behalf at the ECM.
All members are encouraged to vote by proxy through email. There will be no in-person voting at the ECM. All votes will be registered and tallied by the church office staff, and will be treated as confidential. The Chairman of the ECM will be informed of the final tally of the votes, which will be announced at the ECM.
The completed proxy form must be sent to Mr. Adam Peh
- by email to email@example.com, or
- by Whatsapp 8482 2235 or
- mailed by post to the Church at 3 Orchard Road, Singapore 238825, to reach us by latest 10am, Friday, 4 December 2020.
